Carol Peters had thrived over several decades as a successful business woman,
founding both an international gift firm and a San Francisco construction
company. In 1990, she was honored by the San Mateo Better Business Bureau
as Business Woman of the Year.Carol loved business, but she loved music more. She remembered her teenage success, performing blues and pop songs all over the state of Oregon and recording her work for broadcast on local radio. A few years ago, Carol decided to pursue her dream. She joined one of the Bay Area's major gospel choirs and began working with local musicians to hone her singing talents, focusing on the blues and on jazz standards that always resonate with audiences. Teaming with Angelo Ortiz, a New York based guitarist who had worked with Patti LaBelle, the duo began to create original songs that are sexy, touching, sophisticated and funny. Currently she is performing in the Bay Area but she has touched many audiences all over the world.
