...If running for office was as much fun as you made it, I'd consider doing it for a living.  "Aaron's Blues" was the very best.  I'll never forget it.

. . .The party was truly a grand evening of entertainment. Thank you, Carol. You were fabulous. . .

I needed some entertainment for our house warming at the new home we had built on the Sacramento Delta. I was surfing the web and came on Carol's photo. She looked every part the diva, and it turns out she had the voice to match the looks.

The evening turned out to be totally romantic. We danced on our deck under the stars. Carol's beautiful music enticed couples I thought had forgotten how to hold hands to embrace like high school kids at the senior prom.

PLANET TAN SALONS

I was getting ready to open my third Planet Tan Salon in east Contra Costa County.  I've always worked toward making my salons little havens of sophistication in this sprawling suburban region.  When a customer told me about Carol Peters, I went to hear her in performance, and knew she would be a perfect match to entertain at my opening.  She looked gorgeous, sang beautifully, and provided the hip, funny patter that my sophisticated customers enjoy.  She's just the right mix of retro and right now.  Her show kept my guests spellbound.

I met Carol when she entertained at a party in Portland.  I got this crazy idea that it would be fun to have this sophisticated lady and her awesome young musicians perform at the ribbon cutting of the 40,000 square foot warehouse I was opening in Bend, Oregon.

Carol said, "A warehouse, well that will be a first.  But why not?"  It was a Saturday afternoon, and it seemed like half the town had shown up, and when Carol started belting the blues she was shaking every square foot in the building. Bend, Oregon will never be the same.

Recently, my husband and I attended a bash in San Francisco.  The crowd was an eclectic group, from captains of industry to truck drivers.  The food was good, and the drinks more than ample.  The room was growing very noisy.  Then Carol began singing, and there was a sudden silence.  A couple of hundred people were drawn into her web, enthralled by her presentation.  She was strongly feeling what she was singing and she was making us feel it too.

She was working over familiar standards, but she was also presenting her own songs that were fun, emotional, and unique.  "This is a woman who has lived," I thought to myself.

Encore!
